Yea, of course it is possible to train your brain to not act out on being gay. You can also hardware a left handed person's brain to learn to write (somewhat) with the right hand. It usually if not always involves fear and repression though because (wait for it) here is no damn reason to punish yourself in that way. If homosexuality were pathological it may be beneficial but since it, like being left handed, is just another of the beautiful hues of humanity, it becomes unnecessary and detracts from real spiritual progress that can be made.
